Nevou: Rio Fashion, Identity, and Youth Culture

'Nevou ' is an ongoing project developed in the favela of Rocinha, the major favela of Brazil, located in Rio de Janeiro, in collaboration with Maquininha do Corte, a local barber, which explores themes of belonging, identity, and the political strength of Rio de Janeiro's peripheral culture through the practice of hair bleaching.
