THIIIRD Intersect - Reclaiming The Narrative Panel at The Photographer's Gallery

We had the pleasure of hosting an incredible panel at The Photographers Gallery Bookshop last week. Discussing everything from individual creative processes, working within collectives, operating within the mainstream, handling clients and corporations, and facilitating diversity beyond tokenism it was a night jam-packed with insights from these black creatives about the importance of ensuring diversity behind the scenes in creative industries. We will be posting some of our takeaway quotes and on our Instagram so keep your eyes peeled to there for what they are.

During the talk our speakers made reference to works, some of which we have shared below. Catch The Cocoa Butter Club's performance of 'Black Girl Magic' in which three bi-racial black performers at The Cocoa Butter Clubs 2nd Birthday show, and 'Velvet' Iggy Ldn's beautiful short film with music from Fathers & KWABS.
