The Personal Is Political Project: What is Gender?

The Personal Is Political (PIP) project is an ongoing exploration of the societal attitudes that surround us and the communities we live in.

In this part, we delve into gender identity and expression: what is gender identity? How do we explore, celebrate and champion the diversity found within the spectrum of gender? How do these conversations then inform our actions, and support us in building an inclusive future that benefits everyone?

We investigate and deconstruct the concept of gender in discussion, challenging fixed and preconceived notions while spotlighting the personal journeys of a diverse range of queer subjects.
