EDITOR IN CHIEF
Rhona is the Editor in Chief of THIIIRD, a proud Londoner of Igbo Nigerian descent, she has a fashion background and works as a stylist and creative director. Disappointed with lack of diversity she saw within mainstream print publishing, lead to the birth of THIIIRD. Before fashion, her first love was reading and she studied English Literature at Manchester University where she became a voracious reader of post-colonial and gender based theory. White Teeth by Zadie Smith, if not still her favourite, remains in her top ten of books of all time. In her spare time she samba dances. A lot. Makes time for self-care. Reads theory and novels still.
ANNA MILADA GROSSI
Anna is the Art Director and Graphic Designer for THIIIRD. She studied textiles and fashion design, and after working as a designer and painter in London, is now an educator in Oakland, teaching at a public school. Born from a refugee mother and a combative father, she values discussions around human (immigrant, POC and LGBQT, worker – to the front!) rights, pedagogies, cultures and identities. In her spare time she creates illustrations, calls her friends to comment on the Bachelorette, takes photos, hand-pokes her legs, crushes on people.
Chima is the Editor of the Soul section of THIIIRD and also produces video content for the website. He has been a filmmaker and writer for years and years exploring comedy/drama around gender, sexuality and race. He searches for these themes in his writings also, using poetry, observational shorts, and script writing to attempt at an answer. Born in the UK to Nigerian parents, and raised in South London, he is very interested in questioning the changing world. In his spare time he thinks way too much, writes way too little, but dreams big.
